With his arm currently in a cast, the delay in the season start is a good thing for Sammy

Currently stuck at home with his arm in a cast- we catch up with Sammy Brittenham, the youngest in the Family trio of Daredevils to see how he is coping with the pandemic. Sammy is a multi # plate holder in the series and continues to strive and rack up wins as he progresses through the ranks.

XFT: Hey Sammy! What’s up with the cast on your arm? Last we saw you a few months ago you were going strong, did you wreck your bike?

Sammy: I did not wreck my bike, that would make a lot more sense, but I actually did it playing hockey in my basement.

XFT: Wow, who knew Hockey could be so dangerous! You must be going crazy right now not being able to ride, or go to school.

Sammy: With the delay in the start of the season, it works out good for me because I wont have to start out behind.

XFT: Sounds like you got a plan for 2020 eh?

Sammy: I want to learn to ride my 85 better, and focus on winning on the 65.

XFT: As a multi champion, do you put more pressure on yourself?

Sammy: I don’t think so. Winning gives me more and more confidence.

XFT: Where are you looking forward to racing the most in 2020?

Sammy: Definitely Sturgis. I think I have that track figured out and I really Like it. I also really Like L87 Speedway in Corpus Christi. I’m just looking forward to all of them!

XFT: Who is helping you out to accomplish your goals this year?

Sammy: My sponsors are PapaGram, Vickery Motorsports, Lightshoe, MotoGear leathers and Von Zipper

Make sure you swing down to the Pits after all of our events and meet Sammy Brittenham for your self and Stay tuned for part 2 coming soon featuring Sammy’s big brother Joe.
