70+ Grand National Champion "Bad" Steve Stacey
Calling Oklahoma home, the 2024 Grand National Flattrack Champion in the 70+ class “Bad” Steve Stacey has no plans to slow down heading into the 2025 season.
“My roots run deep in offroad and desert racing” said Steve “I was a Malcolm Smith sales rep for 20 years and that is where I spent a lot of my time. I have always admired flattrack and loved the motorcycles and people. Now that I have been racing flattrack I have been blessed to travel all around the United States racing.”
With a very nice collection of flattrack race bikes ranging from Rotax framers to brakeless Triumphs and everything in between, “Bad” Steve always has options wherever he races.
“I have my good buddy and Oklahoma travel partner Paul Wiggin riding one the Kevin Carrier owned ex-Dave Aldana Honda 350’s and it is awesome to watch him twist the grip and rip it!. I just really like giving back to the sport as much as I can” Steve continues “at every National Flattrack event I sponsor the holeshot awards for all the kid classes. I give them a sticker and a little cash, it’s great to see their eyes light up when they open the envelope, and I look forward to continuing that into 2025. I just have a real good time at the track, seeing my friends and still having FUN”
Steve is sponsored by Robert Munson, DND Dink, Pensacola Motorsports and Camel Pro Coffee Co.
