Xtreem Flattrack appoints Chuck Wiedenhoefer as Chairman of the board.
Houston, Tx. (August 28 th , 2023) – XFT is pleased to announce the appointment of Chuck Wiedenhoefer
as the Chairman of the board for the series.
“Specifically, over the last few years, we have been growing and expanding at a such an incredible rate
that it’s become clear we needed to bring in some help to structure and build on this growth rate” said
Jake Latimer, President of XFT. “Chuck’s strategic thinking and business acumen will be a critical element
as we move forward with our vision for Flattrack. Chuck comes from an extensive motorcycle
background as a lifetime amateur racer in the offroad segments” Jake continues “but having discovered
Flattrack later in his motorcycle endeavors he has been “bitten by the bug” so to speak, and beings
Flattrack has consumed my entire life, I can tell you, they have yet to find a cure once you have been
bitten.”
“To be honest, my plan was to semi retire and just work my ranch here in Texas” laughs Chuck, “but
after participating in some Xtreem Flattrack events and getting to know Jake and his team, we all
realized I could be very valuable in helping achieve their goals and visions. Its no secret that the amateur
flat track space needs some serious CPR and without a continuous supply of amateurs, the Pro programs
will struggle for relevance. Its too great a sport with such a rich history it would be shameful to allow
that to happen. It also cannot just continue to rely on those companies currently in the space, we need
to attract outside-of-industry support if flat track is to ever grow. Of course, that’s no small ask so
strategy is critical. We believe our new approach will enable the outcome we all need for the future of
this sport to restore its national greatness.”
“We are very excited to move Chuck into this new role,” said XFT Vice President Jared Neal, “Chuck
brings a wealth of knowledge from all levels to Xtreem Flattrack, I’m confident we have secured the
tools and direction to make a very positive impact on the sport of Flattrack”.
